Following the countless allegations around the actor on social media over the past month, the talent agency WME has parted ways with Armie Hammer.
Hammer didn’t verify the message, but on social media there are messages circulating where the actor had several sexually-explicit conversations in some of which he displayed cannibalistic fetishes, drinking blood, enslaving sex partners and cutting toes. Also allegedly rape fantasies.
Though these allegations have been by tabloids, women say that there are more to those messages that it meets the eye. Three of his former partners have come forward and said that he has emotionally abused and manipulated them.
The team of Hammer denies the accusations, and he himself stated that he refuses to respond to “bullshit claims”.
These accusations have resulted in not one but two high profile projects that he was working on to drop him.
The actor was to be part of “Shotgun Wedding” in which he would have starred opposite of Jennifer Lopez, and “The Offer”, a project about the making of “The Godfather”.
To make the claims calmer, Hammer has said that his departure from “Shotgun Wedding” as his choice, multiple sources have told Variety that he was asked to leave, and the same was for “The Offer”.
Just a day after Variety published the report, in which they reported the fallout of Hammer’s career in wake of the allegations, WME also dropped him as a client.
Among all these accusations Hammer is in the middle of a divorce with Elizabeth Chambers, who is also represented by WME, she is a journalist, television host and entrepreneur.
The pair share two children together, and even though Chambers did not say anything publically on the allegations, she posted an Instagram post in which she stated that she is shocked, heartbroken, and devastated.
“Heartbreak aside, I am listening, and will continue to listen and educate myself on these delicate matters. I didn’t realize how much I didn’t know. I support any victim of assault or abuse and urge anyone who has experienced this pain to seek the help she or he needs to heal. At this time, I will not be commenting further on this matter.” – she wrote.
